Kim Victoria Cattrall born 21 August 1956 is an British Canadian actress from Canada. She is most well-known for her role as Samantha Jones in the HBO Sex and the City series in which she was nominated for five Emmy Awards as well as four Golden Globe Award, winning the Golden Globe 2002 for the top supporting actor. Her role was reprised by her on two of the Sex and the City films (2008) as well as Sex and the City 2 (2009). Before beginning her acting profession it was her job to be an Swedish model. In the end, she won an award at the Miss Sweden Contest. Then she moved to America and began appearing in a variety of movies. Her first credited role was in the movie Abbott and Costello Go to Mars in which she played the role of a Venusian guard. The following year she was a newcomer in Blood Alley she was awarded the Golden Globe in the most exciting category.
